Natalie Josephine Jones was born in February of 1991 and grew up in coastal Massachusetts. After graduating from the same small town high school that her father attended, she moved to Portland, Maine and enrolled at Maine College of Art. Her artistic practice is primarily photographic but she is also interested in ceramics, drawing, and textiles. Her photographic work currently references an interest in gender roles and the friction between romanticized monogamous relationships and hyper-sexualized depictions of the male and female form.
